I remember going down to Florida with Walt, when they were first starting to develop all that land. We stood there in the middle of Interstate 4, right on the highway. Looking both ways, there wasn’t a car in sight and I said, “Walt, are you sure that this is the place you want to put this thing?” And he said, “Yes, don’t worry about it. Best Quick Service Restaurants at Disney Resorts?

My picks for the best quick service restaurants at Disney Resorts are

Riverside Mill at Disney's Port Orleans;
Roaring Fork at Disney's Wilderness Lodge; and
Gasparilla Grill at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort.

Is the Disney Dining Plan worth the cost?

Yet another one of the classic questions you will encounter is whether or not the Disney Dining Plan (aka DDP) is worth the extra cost.

We used to get the meal plans all the time, until we found ourselves scrambling to use up Quick Service credits and snack credits on the last day. So we then switched to the plan that was more weighted towards meals (and not QS and snacks). In the end, we no longer get a meal plan because we have been staying in Club Level rooms (with complimentary snacks) and we find that for our eating habits, paying cash for our meals is a better value for our family. But, everyone has a different pattern, so it's worth trying once or twice to see if it works for you. It can definitely be worth the cost in many cases (and it is very convenient), so give it a look.
